Sheila Zayas is a creative marketing and public relations professional who injects her high energy into every project.
She graduated Cum Laude from the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida with a Bachelor in Public Relations.
Soon after, Sheila joined ImMEDIAcy Public Relations, one of the most prominent and fastest growing PR firms in Palm Beach County. Under the leadership of PR Guru Cheryl Crowley, Sheila was responsible for implementing public relations strategies such as press releases and media relations.
As an account executive of the firm, she supervised graphic design projects such as logos, brochures, flyers, advertising and invitations. In addition, Sheila added communications services in Spanish to the list of services.
This Puerto Rican native also helped plan large events for various high-profile clients as well as copywrite content for web sites, promotional materials and commercial videos.
While a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Sheila served as the local chapter's programming chairperson as well as acted as the PRSA Young Professional's national secretary serving hundreds of young PR professionals around the country.
As a member of the WPTV NewsChannel 5 Hispanic Advisory Committee, Sheila advises the station about its coverage of the local Hispanic community.
